Bays Lung Rose Holma Prevails in Trial Against the State
A team lead by partner Bruce Voss prevailed in a Federal lawsuit against the State of Hawaii. The firm represented a South Kohala developer whose property was reclassified by the State’s Land Use Commission.
Following a multi-week trial in the United States District Court, a jury agreed that the reclassification amounted to a taking of the developer’s property without payment of just compensation.
