John D. Ferry

John D. “J.D.” Ferry, III is an associate in the firm’s litigation department. Mr. Ferry’s areas of practice include counseling clients and resolving their disputes, which often involve commercial matters, construction and development projects, and real estate. Mr. Ferry has represented a variety of clients successfully in state and federal court, and also obtained favorable settlements for them through alternative dispute resolution.

Mr. Ferry graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, where he was selected to serve as a fellow for its Legal Skills in Social Context program. Following graduation, Mr. Ferry worked for a large civil litigation firm in Honolulu and also for a small, plaintiff-oriented firm in Kailua. 

Prior to law school, Mr. Ferry worked as a paralegal in a nationally recognized litigation firm located in Washington, D.C.
