John D. “J.D.” Ferry, III is Senior Litigation Counsel to the firm, where he focuses on commercial, construction, and real estate litigation. With over two decades of experience in the legal field, Mr. Ferry counsels clients and resolves their disputes through state and federal court litigation as well as alternative dispute resolution, securing favorable results for a wide range of clients
Mr. Ferry graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, where he served as a fellow for its Legal Skills in Social Context program. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for a large civil litigation firm in Honolulu and a plaintiff-oriented firm in Kailua, gaining extensive experience across diverse legal settings. Before attending law school, Mr. Ferry worked as a paralegal at a nationally recognized litigation firm in Washington, D.C., where he developed a strong foundation in legal analysis and case management.
His thoughtful approach and dedication to his clients’ interests have earned him a reputation as a reliable and skilled litigator and appellate advocate.
